Chymamusique is facing backlash following the release of a video featuring him on a bike, just months after surviving a tragic accident that resulted in multiple fatalities.
The DJ, known by his real name Collen Ntala Mmotla, shared a video on X that depicted him at a gas station with Mörda, who was refueling his vehicle.
However, the video was actually an older recording, a detail that many viewers seemed to miss.
Believing the clip to be recent, social media commenters quickly criticized Chymamusique, questioning the wisdom of returning to the streets so soon after the deadly crash that resulted in the loss of his close friend, DJ Poizen.
“Bro doesn’t have trauma being on the road,” one user remarked.
Addressing the concerns, the DJ stated, “I’m fighting it by being back on the road.”
While some users wondered if he had fully recovered, others commended him for facing his fears and continuing his journey of recovery.
That’s part of life .
Chymamusique was involved in a deadly car accident on 30 August 2025 along the N1 near Polokwane, Limpopo.
The crash resulted in several fatalities, including that of DJ Poizen. He suffered serious injuries and underwent multiple surgeries, including a brain operation, before being released from ICU.
Since the incident, the DJ has been active on social platforms, often posting images and videos of himself with his bike, seemingly unbothered by the criticism as he continues to focus on his recovery.
