Under the powerful theme “State of Pitori Address,” the highly anticipated, sold-out event brought together thousands of culture custodians, fashion enthusiasts, and music fans to witness the ultimate intersection of style, sound, and self-expression. The spectacular night was headlined by Pretoria’s very own President ya Straata, Focalistic. His performance marked the ultimate culmination of an ongoing collaboration with adidas Originals and sportscene, following a high-energy three-city campus tour across the University of Pretoria, University of the Western Cape, and University of Johannesburg that built massive anticipation for his latest sneaker collaboration, the adidas Foca Forum 2000.
Rooted in the vibrant energy of Pretoria and the youth culture of South Africa, the festival showcased an impressive, community-focused lineup. Attendees enjoyed outstanding performances from top artists in amapiano, hip-hop, and dance music, including A-Reece, Pabi Cooper, and Shandesh, among others. In addition to the performances, the South African State Theatre evolved into an engaging cultural hub, where guests experienced premium brand activations and interactive exhibits from sportscene, adidas Originals, and Jägermeister, highlighting the essence of local street culture.
Capsule Nights continues to cement sportscene’s unwavering commitment to creating platforms that champion local culture, spotlight influential voices, and unite communities through the shared languages of music and fashion.
