Unveiling Radiance: NIVEA’s Limited Edition Extra Bright Body Serum Collection

An Evening of Romance with Bucie, Nkosazana Daughter, and DJ Kent

NIVEA South Africa has launched its new Limited Edition Extra Bright Body Serum line, which takes a skincare-inspired approach to body care, urging South Africans to extend the same care to their bodies as they do to their faces.

This introduction features NIVEA’s newest innovation in body care, where potent skincare ingredients are paired with everyday body care to create a routine aimed at enhancing the appearance of healthy, glowing skin. To mark this occasion, NIVEA organized a media luncheon at Ukko Restaurant in Bryanston, bringing together media, content creators, and industry figures for an interactive brand experience. Attendees were also greeted by a stunningly restored 1964 Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet, which acted as the centerpiece of the campaign and a striking emblem for a new direction in body care.

South African figures Lerato Nxumalo and Ntando Rambani are at the forefront of this campaign, embodying an authentic approach to beauty, confidence, and self-expression that resonates with the ethos of the Extra Bright range and the rising trend toward purposeful, skincare-inspired body care.

This launch signifies more than just a new product offering; it represents a change in consumer perceptions about skin care beyond the neck. As facial skincare regimens have developed, consumers have begun incorporating active ingredients like Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Glutathione to address specific skin concerns. NIVEA is now applying similar skincare principles to body care, simplifying the incorporation of targeted treatment into daily routines.

The Limited Edition Extra Bright Body Serum line features three high-performing ingredients aimed at enhancing the look of dull skin and uneven tones, promoting healthy, luminous skin in just seven days.

The range consists of:

· NIVEA Extra Bright C&A Vitamin Body Serum – For an even skin tone and a radiant glow. This formulation includes Retinyl Palmitate, Niacinamide, and Glycerin, along with Vitamin A, designed to lessen the look of dark spots while offering hydration and UV defense.

· NIVEA Extra Bright C&E Vitamin Body Serum – For skin that looks healthy, bright, and plump. Infused with Vitamins C and E, Niacinamide, and Glycerin, it provides moisture while supporting a vibrant appearance and offering UV protection.

· NIVEA Extra Bright C&AHA Skin Renewal – To achieve healthy, luminous, and smooth skin. This serum incorporates AHA, Vitamin C, Glycerin, and Shea Butter to exfoliate and refine the skin while moisturizing and protecting from UV exposure.

“For generations, NIVEA has been part of South Africans’ daily body care routines. With Extra Bright, we’re introducing a new layer to that routine by bringing skincare-inspired ingredients into body care in a way that feels simple, effective and accessible,” says Angela Nxumalo, Brand Manager for NIVEA South Africa.

“Consumers are increasingly looking for products that do more than moisturise. They want targeted skincare benefits for their bodies too, and this launch reflects that shift. We want people to experience how easy it can be to incorporate body serum into the routines they already know and love.”

The Limited Edition NIVEA Extra Bright Body Serum line is now available at select Clicks Stores across the country. For further details, visit www.nivea.co.za
