Zoë Modiga has unveiled the official music video for her latest single, “Did I Do My Thing,” taken from her newest album, The Vault. The video is now accessible on YouTube, marking another release in the promotion of her fourth studio project.
The Vault, released on 4 April 2026, comprises 17 tracks that Modiga has both written and produced. The album encapsulates music developed during her creative process from 2007 to 2025, showcasing a diverse range of work from various stages of her career. Modiga likens the album to a time capsule centered on love, with the songs serving as reflections of her life experiences across the years.
“Did I Do My Thing” is part of the album and served as the title for Modiga’s national tour earlier this year. The song raises questions about artistic expression and the connection between performers and their audiences, allowing Modiga to ponder whether her music and message resonated with listeners.
The release of the song’s visual follows others from The Vault that have been paired with music videos. Earlier in the promotional period, the artist launched the official video for “Something New,” which was made available in March as the lead single from the album. This track provided an introduction to the sound and visual themes of the project.
A music video for “Low,” another track off The Vault, was released later in June, continuing to build on the visual narrative that accompanies the album.
Modiga’s tour included performances utilizing The Vault as part of the artistic rollout. The album premiered at Johannesburg’s Market Theatre in April, followed by shows in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg as part of the “Did I Do My Thing?” tour named after one of the album’s tracks.
The availability of the official music video for “Did I Do My Thing” allows fans another opportunity to engage with Modiga’s new release, deepening their connection to her latest work.
