The yearly Siyanda Kunene Invitational is set for an exciting comeback on Saturday, 14 November 2026, focusing on remarkable automobiles, lively entertainment, and a transformative charitable initiative.
This year’s event will take place at its stunning new location, Design Quarter in Fourways, and is free for all attendees, celebrating the lasting influence of Siyanda Kunene.
Siyanda’s two great passions—a deep-seated love for supercars and an unwavering spirit of giving—act as the foundational ethos for this extraordinary community event.
The highlight of the celebrations will be the prestigious Siyanda Kunene Invitational Legacy Car Parade.
Attendees can look forward to a breathtaking showcase of luxury supercars, exotic cars, high-performance vehicles, and timeless classics.
United by a dedicated community of car owners who reflect Siyanda’s enthusiasm for motoring, guests will experience automotive exhibits and a dynamic parade featuring some of the most impressive vehicles from Johannesburg.
More than just sleek designs and powerful motors, the essence of the 2026 Invitational lies in its commitment to social upliftment.
This year, the event has teamed up with Kopano Disability Sports as its main charity partner.
Kopano Disability Sports is a vital initiative aimed at fostering sports opportunities for young individuals with disabilities who are under 18 years old.
Despite their significant discipline, skill, and perseverance, these young athletes face substantial challenges due to a lack of specialized sports equipment.
The Invitational seeks to address this shortfall by generating essential funds to acquire sports-adapted wheelchairs.
To maximize impact, 100% of the donations collected will be allocated directly to buying these specialized wheelchairs, empowering these athletes to train, compete, and pursue their aspirations.
Attendees will also have the chance to observe a live sports demonstration by the Kopano athletes during the event.
The Siyanda Kunene Invitational is crafted to offer an all-encompassing family day experience.
In addition to the automotive brilliance, the event will boast an impressive array of live entertainment.
The stage will be animated by a special performance from the PJ Simelane Secondary School Choir, showcasing the incredible vocal prowess of talented young South Africans.
The energetic 985 Dance Crew, along with various guest artists, will keep the crowd energized throughout the afternoon.
The organizers warmly welcome families, automotive clubs, and corporate entities from Johannesburg to join in manifesting Siyanda’s vision into real opportunities for future generations.
Disability should never limit a young person’s potential—and every contribution brings these aspiring athletes closer to achieving their goals.
