Gianluigi Donnarumma has come to an agreement on personal terms with Manchester City as he prepares for a potential transfer to the Etihad Stadium. The Italian shot-stopper is poised to sign a long-term contract, with talks still ongoing between City and Paris Saint-Germain.
Softfootball reports that Manchester City and PSG are currently discussing the transfer fee, but finalizing the move hinges on Ederson’s departure. The City goalkeeper is nearing a switch to Galatasaray after reaching personal terms with the Turkish club.
Manchester City and Galatasaray are in negotiations for Ederson, and once an agreement is reached, Donnarumma is anticipated to take over the Brazilian’s position.
Last week, Donnarumma disclosed that he is exiting PSG, having been pushed out by manager Luis Enrique, who prefers a goalkeeper with superior ball-playing abilities. This follows unsuccessful attempts to renew his contract, which is set to expire in 2026.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano via his Facebook page, the Italian goalkeeper has consented to personal terms with Manchester City for a long-term contract. Negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain are currently in progress to finalize the transfer fee. His post states:

Long term deal ready for Italian goalkeeper and talks underway with Paris Saint-Germain over the total fee.
The deal depends on Éderson’s exit this summer.”
PSG intended to cut Donnarumma’s base salary, which currently stands at €10m per year net, and offered performance-related bonuses instead, but he declined this proposal, leading the European champions to decide on signing Lucas Chevalier from Lille.
The 26-year-old was omitted from the squad for the European Super Cup against Tottenham, signaling his uncertain future with the club. Many regard him as the top goalkeeper in the world, especially following his remarkable performances during last season’s Champions League campaign.
The Italian goalkeeper was instrumental in PSG’s Champions League victory, delivering crucial performances throughout their journey to the final. In the last-16 match against Liverpool, Donnarumma made two key saves during the penalty shootout from Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones, securing PSG’s advancement.
