A-Reece states there is no conflict with Nasty C
A-Reece has at last responded to the persistent speculation about a dispute with Nasty C, affirming that there is absolutely no animosity between them.
The artist took to X to dismiss the ongoing story and instead advocated for a transformative moment within South African hip-hop.
“David and I aren’t covertly beefin’ or anything like that, man, that narrative should start collecting dust at this point,” he tweeted.
Reece further indicated that releasing music on the same date as Nasty C would not only mark a significant event but would also enhance the cultural landscape.
“Dropping on the same day would actually be amazing for South African Hip-Hop… Two giants, two different sounds, two different fan bases, one fucking culture,” he elaborated.
He even suggested including Shane Eagle, envisioning an innovative moment for the local music industry.
“Shit, I mean, add Shane in there too now imagine that.”
Fans have frequently speculated about friction between A-Reece and Nasty C, but with this declaration, Reece emphasizes that he prioritizes collaboration and the advancement of South African hip-hop over perpetuating rivalries.
David and I aren’t covertly beefin’ or anything like that, man, that narrative should start collecting dust at this point. None of what’s happening currently is intended to feed into that bs. & if I can keep it a bean, dropping on the same day would actually be amazing for South…
