Nonetheless, fans of the program criticized Smash Afrika’s presentation, with many perceiving him as unprofessional and biased toward a contestant allegedly favored by him, Thandeka.

During the grand finale on Sunday, March 22, viewers noted that Smash appeared displeased with Liema’s victory.
While several fans thought that his swift exit from the stage after announcing Liema was a clear indication of his unprofessionalism, others defended his actions, claiming his demeanor was consistent with his typical reaction after declaring a winner.

The 24-year-old has completed a full-circle journey, having participated in season 4. She left the show voluntarily after Big Brother offered the housemates the choice to either remain until the end or take home R250,000; Liema opted for the latter.
Liema now stands among the ranks of past Big Brother Mzansi winners, including Sweet Guluva from season 5 and Mphowabadimo from season 3, both of whom have created strong personal brands.
Mphowabadimo, who lost her mother in August 2024, has launched a successful podcast while maintaining her role as a traditional healer.
Sweet Guluva continues to be a crowd favorite, notably recognized for his fashion, consistently impressing at events where his style is always on point!
