Tension had been palpable throughout the week with all housemates, except Head of House Mmeli, facing the possibility of eviction.
Dube left the house feeling accomplished, speaking about his experience. “I’m proud to even get here, considering what happened before… I’m just glad that I walked through the doors and walked out the door, not the back door!” he stated.
He also indicated that his relationship with Kokii was authentic, mentioning they had a shared interest and planned to have a Kota date with his challenge prize of R10,000.
While the other nominated housemates were confirmed as safe, the night held more surprises.
Following the eviction, Big Brother convened a meeting to discuss a serious incident from the previous night, showing footage of a heated exchange.
This altercation involved Neliswa Ngada, Velile “Que” Nongongo, and Didintle “Didi” Mothobi.
During the confrontation, Que directed inappropriate remarks towards Didi, including calling her a “slut” and making a comment about her past abuse, which sparked outrage among fellow housemates.
In the ensuing turmoil, Neliswa physically attacked Que while he was in bed.
As a result of their behavior, Big Brother gave Didi two strikes and Que one strike. However, Neliswa was disqualified immediately for their violent actions.
