Cassper Nyovest Shares His Fears Following ‘Phunyuka Bamphethe’ Debut Performance

Anticipation Builds: Cassper's Latest Single Set to Release Before Album Debut!

South African rap artist Cassper Nyovest has revealed that performing his new single, Phunyuka Bamphethe, for the first time brought about an unexpected sense of nervousness.

Although he has spent years succeeding in the local hip hop industry and has played for large audiences, Nyovest acknowledged that debuting a new track carries its own set of challenges and questions.

Following the performance, Cassper took to social media to express that the experience was quite challenging for him.

“Went to go and perform today. Performed #PhunyukaBamphethe for the first time, and it was so scary,” he noted.

The artist shared that he usually prefers to let songs develop a following before incorporating them into live performances.

He stated that presenting new material in front of crowds is not a frequent part of his routine.

“I’m not used to doing new songs, or rather promoting songs. I usually wait for the song to grow so it doesn’t get awkward on stage,” he remarked.

Cassper’s candid reflections offered fans insight into the challenges faced by established musicians, illustrating that even prominent figures in the industry experience uncertainty when trying new material.

Nevertheless, the rapper emphasized his desire to approach this new stage in his career differently.

Rather than solely depending on his past hits and established fame, Cassper indicated that he aims to cultivate interest around his latest music actively.
