Renowned music producer Chymamusique, formally known as Collen Ntala Mmotla, is expressing his sorrow over the death of his dear friend DJ Poizen, who sadly passed away in a car accident on Saturday, 30 August 2025.
On Monday, 8 September, the Limpopo-born artist took to Instagram to share his emotions, mentioning that he was with Poizen in his last moments.
“See you in heaven, mchana (my boy). I spent the last few minutes of your life with you. #RIPPoizen,” he wrote.
The producer also posted pictures of the crash site and said goodbye to his vehicle, which had accompanied him for ten years.
“Goodbye to you, too. You carried me for 10 years, 250,000 km. The goal was 1,000,000 kms and 40 years together,” he captioned.
A few days prior, fans expressed concern for Chymamusique after news broke that he had undergone several surgeries following the incident.
He later confirmed on X that he had been discharged from the ICU and was on his way to recovery.
