Generations: The Legacy actress Manaka Ranaka was a major subject on social media back in 2021, when users discovered that she allegedly “snatched” her friend’s man and became pregnant with him. This came to light when Ranaka commented on a picture of her baby daddy with his former partner, calling them her favorite couple.
Subsequently, another image emerged showing Ranaka and the man together, and she later showcased their relationship on Instagram.
It was later revealed by iHarare in 2021 that Ranaka and her partner had been together previously, in the 2000s. Following their breakup, the man, Ntuthuko Mdletshe, allegedly wed another woman, who, it turned out, was acquainted with Manaka.
During their relationship, reports indicated that they had welcomed a child, but upon their reconciliation, they had another son together.
When the scandal became public, Manaka, whose baby was still an infant, responded to accusations of being a home wrecker, stating, “Bafikile ondabeni bathi I’m a home wrecker (gossipmongers have arrived, they are saying I am a home wrecker). Ai, let me go breastfeed. It’s the #letsrewind for me,” she joked.
