Leslie Mampe, known in the music industry as Da L.E.S, a prominent South African rapper and reality television figure, has opened up about the stroke he experienced in July 2024. His revelations highlight how emotional turmoil and grief substantially impacted his health.

During a candid interview with News24, the acclaimed artist, who is featured on Love and Hip Hop SA, spoke about the challenges he faced, including the loss of mobility and difficulties in communication, which ultimately led him to seek relief in substances to cope with his emotional distress.

A snippet from the discussion was shared on X by user @RealSihleIV, eliciting strong reactions from fans who were taken aback by the extent of his struggles.

Da L.E.S attributes his stroke to significant stress that he had kept largely private.
