In a recent communication, the producer shared that the album is under development and reached out to @OriginalJayJody to craft the introductory track. “You know the intro is for you to handle. I have a lot I need you to talk about on my behalf,” Clen stated, indicating a deliberate and meaningful start that reflects the project’s purpose.

My next album title is “STILL VIRAL”

That’s not a secret.

I’m currently working on it. @OriginalJayJody you know the intro is for you to handle. I have a lot I need you to talk about on my behalf.

“STILL VIRAL” marks both a continuation and a progression of a journey that Clen has been cultivating for years. In 2023, he released the full-length album “V I R a L,” which explored themes tied to culture and the ways in which music evolves through the years.

The following year, he further expanded this narrative with “TOO VIRAL,” a collaborative effort that included a title track featuring Jay Jody, establishing a partnership that is now heading to a highlighted role on the forthcoming album.

Clen’s output has remained dynamic in 2025, with the release of “All Is Fair” in May, a concise 10-track collection demonstrating his skills in music selection and unity. By August, he collaborated with K-Rev on “THE ONLY WAY UP (mixtape),” showcasing a busy year and a relentless creative drive.

The announcement of “STILL VIRAL” is not a product of inactivity. Instead, it emanates from an artist actively refining a recognized concept. Entrusting the intro to Jay Jody is a strategic decision. Their established collaborative language has proven successful in the past. Notably, in late 2024, Clen revealed that Jay Jody once recorded a project introduction in reverse due to a rearrangement of beats, highlighting an innovative approach that could elevate the album’s opening to an artistic declaration rather than a conventional introduction.

Furthermore, their collaborative history includes the earlier track “Viral,” weaving a strong connection between the album’s title and its underlying theme as well as the narrative voice that will express it.

Jay Jody brings additional depth beyond just a verse. As a storyteller rooted in Pretoria’s music scene and the older sibling of A-Reece, he offers a substantial perspective on South African hip hop. His experiences are likely to transform intros into rich context rather than mere excitement, a factor Clen is likely counting on when he mentions having “a lot” for Jody to elaborate on.
