In a notable turn of events concerning the murder of well-known DJ and media figure Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock, who was fatally shot in the Johannesburg Central Business District earlier this month, legal proceedings have advanced.

One of the individuals arrested in connection with the case has been officially charged with premeditated murder.

The suspects had their initial court appearances at the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 24, 2025, following their apprehension a few days prior.

During the hearing, Victor Mthethwa Majola was charged with the murder of DJ Warras, while the charges against the second individual were temporarily dropped.
