The artist known as Doja Cat is currently visiting the country for a performance in Pretoria this evening, and she saw it as the perfect chance to reach out to her dad, actor Dumisani Dlamini.
Unfortunately, she was unable to succeed in her attempt as Dlamini declined, citing that she does not contact him sufficiently through texts or calls.
The musician shared on TikTok that, in light of her 62-year-old father’s refusal to watch her perform, she humorously linked him to a gay adult site.

Dlamini is well known for portraying Crocodile in Sarafina, sharing the screen with Whoopi Goldberg and Leleti Khumalo.
“I was messaging my father, who’s in Africa right now, and he told me he couldn’t attend my show because I haven’t contacted him enough, and I didn’t reach out via WhatsApp,” remarked a fatigued Doja Cat, recording from her bed.

“So I sent him gay porn, saying if he clicked the link, he could get a ticket… and he responded saying, ‘I will forward this to my management, they will take care of it. Right now, I’m swamped with costume and rehearsal,’” she continued, referring to her birth name, Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini.
“He’s busy working, messaging me repeatedly, saying, ‘I’m really occupied right now, I can’t pick up the phone…’ and then keeps sending me that same message,” she added.
“Then I had to resend the link because he asked, ‘What is the website?’”
Chortling with delight, Doja Cat mimicked her father’s puzzled reaction upon checking the link.
“He says, ‘Darling, what is this? I’m seeing gay porn… I’m not sure if this is a scam,’” she laughed.
“I don’t know what to do with this; I can’t get the ticket,” she added, letting out a mischievous laugh.
