Emtee Considers FNB Stadium for Da Big Hustle One-Man Show. The rapper has posed an intriguing question to his fans, contemplating the possibility of hosting his Da Big Hustle One-Man Show at the famed FNB Stadium.
The celebrated artist, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu, recently invited his supporters to share their thoughts on whether he should bring the next installment of his one-man show to the venue in Johannesburg.
“Should I fill FNB Stadium??? Let me know if I should bring Da Big Hustle One Man Show to FNB Stadium…” Emtee expressed on social media, providing a link to an official registration page managed by Goldex Events.
The registration initiative promotes the upcoming concert as Da Big Hustle: One Man Show 2.0, encouraging fans to express their interest. The registration process is designed to gauge demand, with those who sign up promised priority updates if the event proceeds. However, registration does not confirm the event or secure tickets.
This proposed stadium performance follows Emtee’s successful first Da Big Hustle One Man Show, which took place at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park on March 8, 2025.
The sold-out concert celebrated a decade of Emtee’s career, featuring a live band and an impressive roster of South African hip-hop artists, such as Big Zulu, Sjava, Nasty C, A-Reece, Usimamane, Tony Dayimane, 25K, Fifi Cooper, and Saudi.
For Emtee, this show was more than just another performance. He referred to it as a “rebirth” as he reflected on his journey, music, and relationship with his audience.
Taking this concept to FNB Stadium would represent a significant evolution.
This venue, commonly known as Soccer City, has a capacity of nearly 95,000 attendees and is one of the premier choices for major music events in South Africa. Cassper Nyovest set a precedent in 2017 with his historic Fill Up FNB concert, showing that a South African hip-hop artist could attract a large crowd to the stadium.
Emtee is now contemplating whether he can replicate such an iconic moment with Da Big Hustle.
Amplifying the discussion is a fan-driven Change.org petition advocating for Emtee to headline FNB Stadium in 2027. This campaign has reportedly amassed over 10,000 signatures, with supporters highlighting his impact, longevity, and the bond he has maintained with fans since his breakout hit, “Roll Up.”
Organizing a stadium concert, however, entails considerable planning and financial investment, ranging from venue expenses and production to security, staffing, and sponsorship.
At this time, no official date has been set for Da Big Hustle One Man Show 2.0 at FNB Stadium. Emtee and Goldex Events are currently assessing the level of public interest before moving forward with the idea.
