In a statement released on 30 June 2026 through Emtee Records, the artist indicated that this transition is a strategic choice in light of his aspirations for career advancement.

“As I step into a new chapter and a new vision for my career, I’ve made the decision to part ways with my previous management,” Emtee wrote. “This decision I had to make because I believe my career deserves a team that’s focused on growth, transparency, and moving in the right direction.”

Emtee, recognized for his hit songs like “Roll Up” and his distinctive “Geleza” style, pointed out that issues regarding payment processes for performances significantly influenced his decision. He stated that payments routed to his previous management for bookings had created challenges that jeopardized his standing and business interests.

“Unfortunately, there have been payments made for gigs and appearances to my former management that have not been handled in a way that reflects my values or protects my brand,” he continued. “I can no longer allow that to continue.”

The award-winning artist has indicated that the transition to his new management team began on 9 June 2026. This team, he assures, is dedicated to supporting his career, music, and the fans who have been with him throughout his journey.

Moving forward, Emtee requests that all bookings, business inquiries, and professional collaborations be directed to his new manager, Hlubi Radebe, at 084 989 7015 or via Noplayplay@gmail.com.

He also issued a firm warning to promoters, event organizers, collaborators, and anyone interested in working with him.

“Please note that any bookings, business discussions, or agreements made through any other person or contact claiming to represent me will not be recognised or entertained.”

Emtee concluded his announcement by reflecting on the effort that has gone into building his career, making it clear he will no longer allow others to benefit from his name without proper authorization.

“I’ve worked too hard to build my name, and I’m done with people using it for their own personal gain. From this point forward, everything goes through my official management. Thank you to everyone who’s continued to support me. The journey continues, bigger moves, better music, and nothing but positive energy.”

The announcement, released under Emtee Records, aligns with the label’s “No Play Play” philosophy, emphasizing determination, perseverance, and professionalism as the cornerstones of the rapper’s next steps.

This change in management signifies a pivotal moment in Emtee’s career as he takes greater control of his professional dealings while looking ahead. Although details of his new management team remain pending, his recent statements indicate a strong focus on establishing a more secure and artist-driven framework.

With a fresh outlook and definitive plans set in place, fans can anticipate Emtee harnessing that momentum in the forthcoming chapter of his music career, focusing on growth and accountability.
