Enhle Mbali allegedly married Black Coffee because of his money
Actress and designer Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa is once more a topic of public discussion following claims that she wed Grammy-winning DJ Black Coffee due to his financial status.
As reported by Sunday World, these assertions surfaced in a recent ruling from the Johannesburg High Court after the couple completed their divorce proceedings.
The report indicated that Enhle was attracted to Black Coffee’s wealth and that she had allegedly persuaded her family to support their marriage for this reason.
Details about their relationship were included in the ruling, such as the timeline of their initial encounter, the beginning of their romance, and the lobola that was agreed upon.
It was noted that Black Coffee paid R70,000 in several payments, adhering to all customary marriage practices.
This news follows Enhle’s announcement on 10 October 2025, in which she stated that her divorce from Black Coffee was finalized, and she had returned to her maiden name.
The court ruled in her favor, requiring the DJ to provide R25,000 monthly for each child in maintenance, along with additional spousal support.
Despite this, numerous supporters of Enhle have strongly contested the report’s assertions, asserting that her relationship with Black Coffee began long before he rose to international fame.
One commenter remarked, “But Black Coffee was not a millionaire when they married. You guys are too forward, and are pushing this propaganda.”
