Emerging independent music star Naledi Aphiwe, alongside her management, is navigating the aftermath of her official YouTube Artist Channel being unexpectedly deleted from the site without consent.
This sudden disappearance has deprived the artist of a vast collection of work that had gathered over 120 million views collectively.
The deletion coincided with the crucial pre-launch phase of her anticipated EP, creating a significant hurdle for her digital presence at a pivotal moment in her career.
As stated by Naledi Music Group, it has almost been two weeks since this unauthorized action occurred.
Even with tireless efforts from Naledi’s team on both administrative and technical fronts, her original channel and its assets remain completely unreachable.
The deleted digital repository encompassed a rich collection of work, featuring official music videos and unique audio visualizers that acted as a main connection to her international fan community.
In addition to the significant impact on her streaming statistics, the channel was fundamental to her professional persona.
In response to this disruption, her management has urgently called upon her devoted followers, lovingly referred to as the Starlites, as well as the wider music community and press, to support the artist during this difficult transition.
Determined not to let this hurdle hinder her progress, Naledi Aphiwe is reinforcing her position as an independent artist by making a decisive strategic shift.
She has formally created a new YouTube channel that will be the primary platform for her upcoming EP as well as all future artistic endeavors.
As she moves ahead, the artist is entirely concentrated on regaining full control of her career and broadening her artistic influence from the ground level.
