This edition of the Miss Universe Zimbabwe pageant is set to take place at Harare’s The Hippodrome on Saturday, 6 June.
Zozibini Tunzi recently served as the host for the 17th annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) alongside established media figure Lawrence Maleka. Shortly after being announced as one of the new presenters on the rebooted SABC3 lifestyle show Top Billing, Zozi has once again broadened her hosting repertoire.

In related news, Zimbabwe’s state-owned publication, The Herald, interviewed Miss Universe Zimbabwe chairperson Danya Kabwebwe, confirming Zozibini Tunzi’s role as host for the 2026 event. Kabwebwe described Tunzi as “an African icon who transformed global beauty standards and inspired millions of young girls.”
He also mentioned that she will co-host the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2026 grand finale with a well-known Zimbabwean male figure, although his name was not disclosed at the time of this writing.
