South African influencer Grace Mondlana finds herself under criticism once more after posting a video documenting her move from her apartment.
On February 28, 2026, the 25-year-old creator shared a video showing her belongings being loaded onto a truck as she prepared to leave her high-end apartment in Centurion.
In her post, Grace spoke about the challenges and feelings associated with beginning anew and accepting change.
“Always a bittersweet moment moving out, no matter how many times I’ve done it before, but I’ll do it again & again to suit my personal goals,” she wrote.
While some fans offered their congratulations, others raised questions about the rationale behind her move.
Blogger Musa Khawula entered the conversation, asserting that Grace had previously led her fans to believe that the apartment was purchased.
“Grace Mondlana reveals that she’s moving out of her apartment after dubbing and convincing her lil followers that she has purchased the apartment,” he claimed.
The accusations attracted attention, as critics revisited older TikTok videos in which Grace seemed to indicate that she owned the property.
Some social media users commented that her relocation was inconsistent with earlier claims of ownership since, typically, property owners do not “move out” of what they regard as a permanent asset.
In contrast, her devoted followers defended her, arguing in the comments that situations can evolve.
Grace clarified that her decision to relocate was because she had chosen not to proceed with the purchase of the unit, but this explanation has not fully resolved the discussion.
