Home is Where the Heartbeat: Fuhad and James in South Africa!

SHXTSnGIGS podcast presenters Fuhad Dawodu and James Duncan recently ventured to South Africa during the Daddy’s Home tour, and they have just released a video showcasing their adventures behind the scenes.

After returning to their routines, Dawodu and Duncan (both 34) have resumed creating episodes for their podcast, but they felt it was essential to document the incredible success of their recent tour segment.

The duo played to packed audiences in Johannesburg and Cape Town, while also taking time to discover the local culture and nightlife in both cities.

Dawodu and Duncan brought us along to their workout sessions, shared their preparations for the performances, and provided insights into what goes down on show nights, including fan interactions and various other activities.

During the video, the duo revealed details about the UK segment of their tour, which will conclude this tour.

The live performances in the UK are scheduled for May and June, with tickets for the London event already sold out.

How did the ShxtsNGigs duo meet?

Fuhad and James first crossed paths as teenagers at Coventry University, quickly bonding with each other and others in their circle.

In July 2025, the duo was honored with Honorary Doctorates in Arts by their university in recognition of their podcast’s achievements.
