Taking place on the eve of National Women’s Day (9 August), this event aims to create a two-day cultural celebration that emphasizes visibility and creative expression. The program will feature a women-led leadership dialogue and a platform for emerging women artists, making it both celebratory and action-oriented.
In collaboration with the City of Tshwane, the development of this event has ongoing support from the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department, ensuring a safe and organized large-scale gathering.
BUILT ON CULTURAL MOMENTUM
Outside Already originated as a cultural initiative and launched with a private dinner at Marble Restaurant, which set a clear direction for the platform. This gathering included significant figures from culture, business, and leadership, such as Lichi Pan, Sinqobile Tusani, Ndaba Mandela, Olwethu Leshabane, Kelebogile Mabunda, Count Lupa, Malume Jade, Muriel Mamoepa, and Froo Saana, alongside influential individuals shaping South Africa’s cultural narrative.
“We are building a platform that is as commercially viable as it is culturally significant, connecting influence, opportunity and community at a national level,” the Co-Founders say.
As the nation gathers in the capital on the eve of Women’s Day, it aims not only to celebrate but also to bring visibility.
