Lynn Forbes remembers late son on his 38th birthday
As rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes would have turned 38, Lynn Forbes posted a heartfelt tribute reflecting on their shared experiences.
Forbes spoke about the various highs and lows they experienced together but expressed her intention to remember the joyous moments.
She cherished AKA’s laughter, their conversations, and the enthusiasm he displayed with every new idea he had.
“Some part of you always remained a little boy,” she reflected, highlighting the gentle and playful nature of the rapper.
Forbes mentioned the routines she now finds herself longing for: his calls to her as “maaaa,” their phone chats, shared lunches, and the time they spent watching shows such as Dexter and Somebody Feed Phil.
She also recalled the little habits that made their life together enjoyable, including how he ate ice lollies and his loud chewing.
Forbes reminisced about the preparation she used to do before spending time with him during their son Kairo’s visits, noting how she never anticipated missing such everyday gestures of affection.
She concluded her tribute by stating that she holds on to these precious memories, valuing every aspect of AKA that she had the privilege to know. “Always in my heart,” Forbes wrote.
