In a captivating episode that was broadcast on 5 September 2026, viewers of Umndeni Somnala on Moja Love were thrilled by the way Sindisiwe MaDlamini, the second spouse of the well-known polygamist and KZN Bishop Hamilton “Somnala” Nala, defended her position against her husband.
MADLAMINI APPLAUDED FOR BEING BRAVE
After Somnala’s outburst on 29 August, he shifted his fury onto MaDlamini, accusing her of being “disrespectful” toward the first wife, MaMbatha, along with a guest in their home.
However, during her diary session, MaMbatha revealed that it was indeed MaNjomane who had shown her disrespect, contradicting what MaDlamini’s husband had claimed.
In another shocking revelation, Somnala accused MaDlamini of terminating their pregnancy, which she firmly denied, stating that she had experienced a miscarriage rather than an abortion, which was his assumption.
Audiences viewed MaDlamini’s response as a significant moment, commending her for confronting her husband, whom they identify as a bully.
MaDlamini once again confronted her spouse after he alleged that she had relationships with foreign men and failed to reprimand male listeners who made unwelcome advances during her church radio program.
Somnala also accused her of being “useless” in their family enterprise, where she was responsible for the IT sector.
In her defense, MaDlamini stressed that she had worked diligently for her education and was taken aback by the “useless” tag attributed to her.
VIEWERS PRAISE MADLAMINI FOR STANDING UP FOR HERSELF
In a video shared by Ma Shinga on Facebook, she lauded MaDlamini for finding the courage to confront her husband. She commented:
“Madlamini stood up to the bully, and she made me proud. I’m glad she left because WOW. Lendoda (this man) was not reprimanding her, he was destroying her dignity on camera, in front of all the wives. Some words can never be taken back.”
Ayanda KaMabaso Nzuza: MaDlamini, sisterhood is proud of you for standing up for yourself against that bully.
Nomthandazo Sibanyoni: MaDlamini for President. Love her.
MoMo Wa Banana Mafereka: Finally, he met his match MaDlamini for President.
Fortunate Ngwenya: I watched it twice this morning. She dealt with him nicely.
Tana Princess Mtolo: [I] am proud of you MaDlamini.
