Makhadzi’s management team has updated the public regarding her recovery following the car accident that occurred in Mokopane on December 30, 2025.
The celebrated artist gained attention when she posted images and videos of herself while hospitalized after the incident.
On January 17, 2026, her management posted to her Instagram Story that Makhadzi is continuing her recovery at home after the accident on the eve of New Year’s Eve.
“Makhadzi went for a check-up yesterday (Friday, 16 January 2026) in Polokwane and doctors are happy with her recovery process,” reads the statement.
Additionally, the statement noted a case was filed in Mokopane on December 31, 2025, and Makhadzi provided her account to authorities on January 16, 2026.
Makhadzi’s management indicated that she remains unavailable for bookings and thanked her fans for their ongoing support, promising to share more updates shortly.
The award-winning singer previously shared a video highlighting her scars on her Instagram account following the incident.
