Musa Khawula
South African blogger Musa Khawula finds himself in legal trouble again, as he reportedly did not appear in court for a murder case from 2022, leading to a potential arrest warrant.
Khawula, who is known for his provocative social media content and celebrity commentary, is now reportedly wanted by law enforcement due to his no-show in the court proceedings.
Reports indicate that the police have ramped up efforts to track down Khawula after he missed his court date earlier.
Entertainment site MDN TV LIVE shared the details on Instagram, asserting that the National Prosecuting Authority has acknowledged Khawula as a wanted man.
This legal matter originates from a significant case from 2022 involving serious charges against him.
The platform posted: “The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Western Cape has confirmed that social media influencer Musawenkosi ‘Musa’ Khawula remains at large, with an active warrant of arrest issued in a high-profile 2022 murder case.
According to official correspondence from the Director of Public Prosecutions, dated 6 March 2026, in response to an inquiry, Khawula faces charges in the Vredenburg Magistrates’ Court (CAS 35/03/2022) for the alleged murder of his former boyfriend, Wandile Khambule.”
The South African Police Service in Vredenburg has been instructed to locate him and ensure he appears in court.
As word of this latest development spread, social media users expressed a range of opinions.
While some defended Khawula and questioned the situation, many others criticized him for supposedly avoiding the judicial process, adding further complexity to his contentious public persona.
