Musa Khawula apologises and retracts false claims about Joseph Groovin Nchabeleng
Controversial gossip blogger Musa Khawula has formally apologized to Joseph Groovin Nchabeleng after he made unfounded accusations against him on social media.
In a detailed statement released via his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, 11 October 2025, Khawula took back all allegations he had previously made concerning Nchabeleng’s supposed relationship with actress and producer Connie Ferguson.
This action followed a cease-and-desist letter from Nchabeleng’s attorneys in response to Khawula’s earlier speculation that Ferguson and Nchabeleng were in a clandestine romantic relationship.
Khawula had also made assertions connecting Nchabeleng to questionable business activities involving individuals linked to criminal enterprises.
His latest statement, which has attracted close to three million views, acknowledged that his previous assertions were incorrect and that he had misrepresented the situation.
“I fully appreciate that my actions and statements caused harm and infringed on Mr Nchabeleng’s rights and dignity. I therefore unconditionally withdraw these statements and unreservedly apologise for making them and for any harm caused to Mr Nchabeleng,” he wrote.
“I had no valid basis whatsoever for making these statements about Nchabeleng. I fully apologise for my statements and posts,” he added.
