Acclaimed for her roles in Adulting and Rhythm City, Samkelo Ndlovu will take on a leading role in the new Mzansi Magic series Kuningi.
Ndlovu will appear alongside her previous Inimba co-star Kay Sibiya, who portrayed a lawyer in the celebrated isiXhosa television series.
On May 8, 2026, Twitter user @Ta_Hlumza posted a video showcasing the trailer for the anticipated TV show on his X account.
“Mzansi Magic has released the trailer for their upcoming mini series Kuningi starring Samkelo Ndlovu, Kay Sibiya, Simphiwe Ngema, Ratanang Mogotsi, and Andy Mnguni. 18 May 2026 at 7 PM, only on Mzansi Magic, channel 161,” commented the user.

Samkelo Ndlovu’s previous performances
TVSA reports that Samkelo Ndlovu, recognized for her portrayal of Lerato in eTV’s Rhythm City, has also appeared in SABC1’s Generations as DJ Lulu.
Ndlovu was previously featured in the first season of the Mzansi Magic telenovela Inimba as Lillian and was part of seasons 1 and 2 of Umkhokha: The Curse, where she played a Council Member.
Recently, Ndlovu gained attention on social media after receiving criticism from fans of Showmax’s telenovela Adulting, in which she played Minkie.
