Naledi Aphiwe announces management split amid recent confusion

South African emerging artist Naledi Aphiwe has officially spoken out about the rumors regarding her management, confirming a significant shift within her team.

On Friday, the singer utilized social media to release an official statement indicating that she has parted ways with her previous manager, Londiwe Mcwabe.

This announcement follows a period of ambiguity and public speculation regarding her management structure.

Naledi’s statement offered clarity, though she opted to keep certain aspects private.

She wrote: “I would like to formally address a recent change regarding my management team. After careful consideration, I would like to confirm that I am no longer working with Londiwe Mcwabe. This decision follows a series of events that have taken place over the past few weeks.”

While she acknowledged the interest surrounding the separation, the artist reinforced that not every detail would be disclosed out of respect for those involved.

In her message, she made it explicitly known that her former manager is no longer affiliated with her brand.

“Moving forward, I kindly ask that any communication regarding my work including bookings, collaborations, brands and public relations be directed to me or my current management team only. Londiwe Mcwabe is no longer affiliated with my brand or professional activities, and she is not authorized to represent me in any capacity,” she added.

Naledi concluded her statement with a thoughtful note, indicating a fresh start ahead.

“Sometimes stepping away is necessary for growth and peace of mind. I’m choosing alignment, clarity, and a team that reflects where I’m going. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and respect my journey it truly means everything,” she wrote.
