Nasty C Discusses Sarkodie’s Absence from His Top Three Ghanaian Rappers List. In a recent conversation with Joy Prime’s Roselyn Felli on the Changes show, Nasty C shared insights into his opinions on Ghanaian rappers and addressed the speculation regarding his dynamics with Sarkodie.

When questioned about Sarkodie’s absence from his top three list, Nasty C replied forthrightly, “He’s not on my top 3 at the moment, no.” He emphasized that while Sarkodie is not in his top three, he is certainly considered in the top five.
The discussion then shifted to the potential for collaboration between the two artists, especially after past tensions dating back to 2022. Nasty C mentioned, “I don’t know, we will have to have a conversation. A lot of things got lost in the translation. No one has just organised that sit-down yet; we’re just busy with our lives.”
He expressed willingness for a resolution if the chance arises, stating, “If organised, yes. I said that in the song that I put out. But I don’t know if he misunderstood it or if someone was in his ear telling him the wrong message. But his response to the song that I put out was spicy. So I don’t know where his head is at the moment; I’m not really worried about it. But if he asks us to sit down and have that conversation, yes, for sure, why not?”
The conflict between the two artists became public after Nasty C disclosed in his 2022 freestyle ‘No Big Deal’ that he had turned down collaboration requests from Sarkodie because the latter allegedly declined to shake his hand upon their first encounter. Sarkodie then responded with the diss track ‘Landlord’, reinforcing his established status and targeting Nasty C.
Since that incident, Nasty C has acknowledged that his reaction was unwise, attributing it to frustration. He has since conveyed respect for Sarkodie and reassured fans that he would produce an impressive verse if an opportunity to collaborate again presented itself.
