Natasha Joubert announces pregnancy
Former Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert and her spouse, Enrico Vermaak, are set to expand their family.
The pair, who married in March of this year, shared their joyous news through a joint Instagram post on Monday, showcasing Natasha’s baby bump.
“The last five months we’ve been keeping the sweetest secret,” the caption read, as they invited their followers to join in their journey.
Natasha expressed her gratitude to those who maintained her privacy during the early stages of her pregnancy.
“One thing I have learnt is how sacred pregnancy is. To my people who have known and kept a secret with me, bless you and thank you for respecting Enrico and I,” she wrote.
The beauty queen shared that she preferred to wait until she had confirmation of a healthy pregnancy before making the announcement, noting that they had recently completed their anatomy scan and felt equipped to share their happiness.
Reflecting on her personal experience, Natasha confessed that the road has had its difficulties.
“There is a lot that comes with being pregnant and I have been challenged mentally, physically and psychologically throughout. I have had so many turbulences with friendships and work and felt guilty for not feeling joyous. I wanted to ensure I work through a lot to fully embrace and feel all the amazing emotions.”
Despite facing various obstacles, Natasha’s message was filled with enthusiasm and affection for the future.
“Enrico and I are on cloud 100,000,000. We love this little one so much,” she concluded her heartfelt message with amplified joy.
