Njelic, recognized as an influential figure in Amapiano, is gearing up to conclude October with a strong collaboration. He has revealed details about his forthcoming single “Confidence,” featuring prominent Amapiano artists Sam Deep and De Mthuda.
This eagerly awaited track is scheduled for release on Friday, 23 October 2026, uniting three artists who have each made significant contributions to the genre’s evolution.
The announcement was made by Njelic on Instagram, where he also presented the official cover art for “Confidence” and provided fans with links for pre-saving and pre-ordering through Africori. This update has generated excitement ahead of the single’s debut.
“Confidence” carries a theme of self-empowerment. Njelic has characterized this work as an anthem designed to inspire listeners to have faith in their capabilities, embrace their personal journeys, and follow their unique paths.
This message creates a personal touch for the single, while the collaboration highlights the different styles each artist brings to Amapiano.
Born in Soweto, Njelic is a key figure in enhancing the genre’s soulful elements. His unique vocal style and gospel-influenced background have established him as a recognizable presence within Amapiano, characterized by impactful releases and notable collaborations.
De Mthuda has a long-standing creative partnership with Njelic, having collaborated on the acclaimed 2019 track “Shesha.” This song emerged during Amapiano’s explosive growth and continues to be a significant part of their artistic journey.
On the other hand, Sam Deep represents a newer wave of talent in Amapiano. With his signature deep rhythms and polished production, he has affirmed his place as one of the leading contemporary figures in the genre.
The collaboration of Njelic, De Mthuda, and Sam Deep on “Confidence” blends seasoned experience, soulful influences, and contemporary Amapiano production.
This single follows a productive year for Njelic, who has been consistent with releases throughout 2026. Earlier in the year, he debuted “Ungangishiyi” with Thabza Tee and Ilovelethu, and in September, he released “Zola Badu” alongside McWizBeats and Mpho Spizzy.
As he focuses on “Confidence,” fans can mark their calendars for the release on 23 October.
With its empowering message and the combined talents of three Amapiano artists, “Confidence” is poised to be a significant addition to Njelic’s discography. Fans have the opportunity to pre-save or pre-order the single prior to its release.
