Nota Nhlamulo Baloyi, a South African music executive known for his outspoken nature, shared his insights about Babalwa M’s recent stage performance.
On Sunday, 21 September 2025, the artist who previously alleged that over R400K was seized from his bank account by DJ Shimza’s lawyers took to social media to comment on Babalwa M’s impressive act at the DStv Delicious Festival held on Saturday, 20 September 2025.
Baloyi, who has been critical of the young singer’s earlier performances, acknowledged that she appeared to have embraced his feedback, improving her stage presence in the process.
He stated:
“With knees that have never polished the stoep, running legs in Maxhosa looking too cute. Glad to see her performing with a live band. That’s the kind of self-respect I was referring to… It’s time to elevate.”
