Phumeza and her spouse on the verge of separation
South African television host and former actress from Sokhulu & Partners, Phumeza Shoba, has reportedly decided to end her marriage with Mnqobi Shoba.
The duo, who exchanged vows in 2014, have purportedly faced marital challenges since July 2025.
As reported by Sunday World, Phumeza has alleged that Mnqobi was unfaithful and has subjected her to both emotional and psychological mistreatment.
Insiders informed that the television star initiated divorce proceedings earlier this year, seeking R45 000 monthly in spousal support, along with an extra R5 000 for the care of their son, Mpilo, who has partial blindness.
The news of their separation led to a significant reaction across social media platforms following its disclosure on Sunday, 7 September 2025.
Numerous fans expressed their surprise, particularly given Phumeza’s recent celebrations regarding her son’s international achievements and her efforts to showcase his skills online.
To date, neither Phumeza nor Mnqobi has made any official statements regarding the situation.
