Prince Kaybee Reflects on Mother's Loss and Struggles with Obesity

Prince Kaybee has shared his experience of losing his mother, offering a heartfelt message that discusses the circumstances surrounding her death.

On the platform X, the music producer noted that his mother’s death was attributed to health issues linked to obesity, a fact that continues to affect him deeply.

“My mother died due to obesity related illnesses. Obesity related illnesses kill 30,000 people annually in South Africa, surpassing HIV,” he wrote.

In the same message, Prince Kaybee conveyed feelings of regret, acknowledging that he wishes he could have done more to assist her in managing her health.

“My obsession with weight loss isn’t some joke; it has a deep scar that reminds me I could’ve guided my mother better in being more present enough to manage her weight, failed as a son, but I’m not gonna fail anyone moving forward. GET TO WORK!”

This candid message sheds light on what drives his well-known fitness journey, emphasizing that it goes beyond aesthetics.

Instead of focusing solely on physical change, Prince Kaybee made it clear that his dedication to health stems from personal loss, a sense of responsibility, and a wish to motivate others to prioritize their health.
