South African artist Prince Kaybee has confirmed the unfortunate news of his mother’s passing following an earlier announcement by Kenny Kunene on social networks on Wednesday, 3 September 2025.
Kaybee, who recently garnered attention for sharing his weight loss progress, disclosed that his mother passed away four days prior.
The celebrated musician expressed his heartbreak on his X account on Saturday, 6 September 2025, sharing his sorrow over his mother’s departure.
“It’s the 4th night of walking around the house without you physically there. Holding you as you sat on the chair that you died on, feeling your neck get stiffer as I kept on begging you not to leave me,” he wrote.
He further articulated his sense of devastation and how deeply affected he feels.
Kaybee expressed his gratitude for all that his late mother had done for him.
