Real Madrid has given the green light for a loan transfer of the promising Argentine talent Franco Mastantuono. The arrangement does not include a buy option, allowing the club to maintain full control over his future developments.
Softfootball reports that this deal mirrors the previous one established for Endrick, providing the 18-year-old with the opportunity to gain essential first-team experience before returning to Santiago Bernabéu.
Mastantuono joined Real Madrid from River Plate in 2025, with an initial transfer fee of €45 million, increasing to around €63 million due to bonuses and other payments.
This decision marks a change in the club’s approach since late last year, when reports indicated that rumors of a January loan for Mastantuono were dismissed. At that point, the Argentine midfielder was seen as fully integrated into Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, following his notable acquisition from River Plate.
By opting out of including a purchase option or a mandatory buy clause, Real Madrid underscores that Mastantuono is considered a vital part of their long-term vision.
