Mthokozisi Ndaba, renowned as an Idols SA participant, made news headlines over the weekend due to his reported arrest.
Previously seen alongside Noma Khumalo on the show, Ndaba has recently discussed his new album.
According to Daily Sun, the former Idols SA contestant was taken into custody on Sunday, 15 March 2026, after an altercation with his cousin.
Sources indicate that the conflict arose during a visit Ndaba made to his family in KwaMashu, though details regarding the dispute remain unclear.
“They both opened counter-charges against each other and failed to resolve the issue. They are both arrested, and we don’t know what they stand to lose from this arrest,” added the source.”
The report also notes that Ndaba acknowledged his arrest at the police station, revealing the injuries sustained from the fight with his cousin, but chose not to provide additional comments.
