Fitness influencer Sbahle Mpisane has shared her journey regarding the challenges that influenced her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery.
During a discussion with Thembuluwo ‘Owamie’ Netshivhazwaulu, the reality TV figure revealed that her habit of comparing herself to other women on social media ultimately led her to scrutinize her own looks.
The interview, which has gained attention online, prompted broader discussions regarding the effects of cyberbullying and the pressure of unattainable beauty ideals.
Mpisane openly expressed that viewing images of other women and reading negative remarks about her body led her to feel self-conscious about her breasts, a part of her figure she previously embraced.
“I knew I didn’t have the best bust because I would see other people and would be like, ‘Oh my God, if mine were that good,’” she said.
She commented that even though she keeps many aspects of her life private, online users still manage to point out flaws in her appearance.
“Not much is known about me, but people try to find something to say,” she shared.
The surgery took place in Turkey, a popular choice among celebrities pursuing various cosmetic enhancements, including liposuction and Brazilian butt lifts.
While her breast augmentation has garnered much attention, Mpisane mentioned that it was not her initial experience with cosmetic procedures.
She also underwent a rhinoplasty, a decision that she linked to injuries from her severe car accident in 2018.
Mpisane explained that the accident resulted in a fracture to her nasal bridge, leading her to seek corrective surgery to restore its previous appearance.
“Due to damage from my car accident, I decided on this treatment to heighten my nasal bridge, giving it an elevation like before,” she elaborated.
