Seemah
In a recent development, South African influencer Seemah has publicly apologized to DJ Zinhle for derogatory comments she made about Zinhle’s husband, Murdah Bongz, during a podcast.
This controversy began after allegations arose regarding Murdah’s infidelity, leading to intense discussions online, including input from Seemah.
During the November 9 episode of her Spreading Humours Podcast, which she co-hosts with Zille and Yanda Woods, Seemah insulted Murdah, labeling him a “dog” over the situation involving his wife.
DJ Zinhle responded to the comments, indicating that Seemah’s remarks were particularly hurtful.
She posted on social media to share her feelings, noting that she had a personal relationship with Seemah and had previously supported her business initiatives.
“Nothing hit me harder than someone calling my husband inja (a dog) and justifying it by saying that I was hurt,” Zinhle stated.
“The lady and I used to chat in the DMs, and I even bought from her business.”
Understanding the impact of her comments, Seemah reached out directly to express her regret.
In her response to Zinhle’s TikTok video, she wrote: “Molo, sis wam. Please do check your DMs on IG. I will also make a public apology on the podcast. I was angry, yes, but I should’ve still been respectful about it. Xolo, sis wam.”
This incident follows a previous controversy involving Seemah, known for her association with the Russian Alabuga job scandal, highlighting the influencer’s propensity for public backlash.
“If she’s upset, it’s cool, I’ll apologise. I was on her side. I’ll just mind my own next time. I talk too much, ka phapha,” she noted.
