Shebeshxt’s Bail Denial Leaves Him Spending Holidays Behind Bars: Court Decision
Katlego Lehlogonolo Chauke, widely known as Shebeshxt, made his first appearance at the Polokwane Regional Court on Friday, 15 May 2026.
The rapper, known for his track Lekompo, was informed of the addition of 11 new allegations to his existing charges.
Shebeshxt faces further challenges
As reported by Daily Sun, Shebeshxt’s attorney, Michael Khumalo, reportedly did not contest the recent charges against him.
Currently, Shebeshxt is facing a variety of serious charges, including robbery, several assault claims, illegal firearm possession, theft, and multiple attempted murder charges. Additionally, he faces accusations of carjacking and illegal firearm possession.
The recent charges have increased the total to an alarming 20.
The musician was arrested in November 2025, and he remains in custody with his next court date set for Thursday, 28 May 2026.
