Sol Phenduka advises jailed Shebeshxt
A photograph of Shebeshxt smiling broadly inside a holding cell has generated significant discussion online. This comes after his bail hearing was rescheduled to Tuesday, 25 November 2025, catching many by surprise.
The image, which went viral on X (formerly Twitter), dispelled earlier assumptions that the rapper had been freed on R5,000 bail, confirming that he is still incarcerated.
The rapper, originally from Limpopo, appeared at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 21 November 2025, where he faces several charges, including attempted murder, malicious damage to property, and unlawfully possessing a firearm.
His bail request was set for that same day but was postponed, stirring conversations among fans and observers on social media.
While the photo of the rapper smiling and engaging with someone outside his cell circulated, broadcaster Sol Phenduka weighed in on the national dialogue.
As a fan of Shebeshxt’s music, Sol raised questions about the implications of the image and its timing.
Posting on his X account, he first questioned the authenticity of the photo before offering some guidance to the rapper, suggesting that the image might not serve his interests.
“This is the time where he should try show some remorse for the sake of his case, not smiling behind bars,” he remarked, encouraging Shebeshxt to be more mindful of his public image during this legal situation.
