Former Skeem Saam actress Shoki Mmola recently sparked discussion online after reports surfaced of her daughter, Oratile Mmola, landing an acting role in Bogaditšong: Sister Wives.
The Scandal! star previously gained attention on social media for discussing her difficult marriage to her children’s father, Sello Sebotsana.
Entertainment commentator Jabu McDonald announced on his X account on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, that Oratile will be featured in Bogaditšong: Sister Wives, alongside her mother.
“Shoki Mmola’s daughter, Oratile Mmola, will play a younger version of her mother’s character in the new Sepedi drama series Bogaditšong: Sister Wives. The new series premieres tomorrow on Evod,” he wrote.
Reports indicate that Oratile’s brother will be portrayed by Wiseman Zitha, known for Giyani: Land of Blood. In the series, Shoki Mmola takes on the role of Puseletso, a past member of the renowned Bright Sisters music group and the mother of the Matlou heir, also played by Wiseman Zitha.
The narrative explores the ascension and challenges faced by the influential Matlou family, highlighting themes of betrayal, authority, and familial discord.
Joining the cast are actresses from House of Zwide, including Rorisang Mohapi Grootboom and Tsholofelo Matshaba, along with Motsoaledi Setumo, who is known for her role in The Queen.
