Sadio Mané and Cristiano Ronaldo were on target for Al Nassr as they defeated Al-Ittihad 2-0, marking the latter’s first loss of the season, according to Softfootball.

João Félix and Kingsley Coman worked together effectively to set up Mané, who confidently found the net to put his team ahead 1-0. The pressure continued from Al Nassr, and Mané, named Man of the Match, provided an impressive assist to Cristiano Ronaldo, who subsequently converted to extend the lead to 2-0, all within the first 30 minutes.

Following the match, Al Nassr shared their triumph over Al-Ittihad via their official X handle.

Coach Jorge Jesus expressed satisfaction with the outcome, particularly highlighting the successful integration of Joao Felix, who recently joined from Chelsea. Al Nassr currently appears to be the strongest team in Saudi Arabia, boasting an impressive goal difference of plus 13.

Al Ittihad is set to compete next week against UAE’s Shabab Al Ahli Dubai in the AFC Champions League Elite, while Ronaldo and his Al Nassr teammates will face Iraqi side Al Zawraa in their AFC Champions League Two campaign next week.

Following this match, Al Nassr takes the lead in the Saudi Arabia league standings with 12 points after four matches, while Al-Ittihad places second with nine points from three victories and one defeat.
