Ndlala Arena has revealed plans for its largest live music event to date, securing Grammy-nominated R&B sensation Tamar Braxton to take the stage on the opening night of Ndlala Grandeur Season 1.
Set to be held from 16 to 19 December 2026, this four-night musical extravaganza will further establish Pretoria’s intimate venue as a premier location for global entertainment.
In an exciting addition, renowned American actor Ricco Ross—who is currently featured as Horace Bellarie in Tyler Perry’s Netflix series Beauty in Black—will be making his inaugural trip to South Africa to co-host the red carpet and shows for the first two evenings of the event.
Following the success of two previous standalone editions, Ndlala Grandeur Season 1 is set to evolve into an immersive multi-day experience.

The lineup features a mix of seasoned artists from the realms of music and television: Tamar Braxton, a prominent name in R&B, began her journey alongside her sisters in The Braxtons before carving out a successful solo path.
Her 2013 album Love and War topped the charts and garnered three out of four Grammy nominations throughout her career. In addition to her musical achievements, Braxton is also a well-known television personality, featuring in Braxton Family Values, co-hosting The Real (which earned her two Daytime Emmy nominations), and winning Celebrity Big Brother Season 2.
Ricco Ross, whose career spans four decades, gained prominence in James Cameron’s 1986 sci-fi classic Aliens.
With classical training in Shakespeare, his extensive television appearances include shows like Mission: Impossible, ER, and P-Valley.
His recent performance in Beauty in Black has brought him back into the global limelight, with the series being a top contender in Netflix’s Global Top 10 for seven straight weeks.
Comprehensive ticket packages, supporting artists, and gourmet dining options for the four-day grandeur event are anticipated to be announced in the upcoming weeks.
