Thandiswa Mazwai bags 4 SAMA wins
Renowned South African musician Thandiswa Mazwai delivered an impressive performance at the 31st South African Music Awards, securing four significant awards while winning the admiration of fans and fellow artists.
The award ceremony occurred on Sunday, 14 December 2025, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg. The Bongo Muffin member was honored for her outstanding contributions across various categories.
Mazwai was recognized as Female Artist of the Year and also nabbed awards for Best African Adult Contemporary Album, Best Produced Album, and Best Engineered Album, further solidifying her position as one of South Africa’s leading musical figures.
After her remarkable victories, Mazwai expressed her enthusiasm and appreciation on social media, giving thanks to her collaborators and loved ones who contributed to the project.
