Thembisa Mdoda second marriage reportedly ends
South African television presenter and actress Thembisa Mdoda is reportedly facing divorce proceedings following the end of her relationship with Abie Nxumalo.
Reports indicate that the two parted ways several months ago, with Nxumalo moving out of their home in Fourways in 2024 and subsequently renting a place in Northcliff.
The breakup reportedly stems from significant disagreements, with claims that tensions emerged due to Nxumalo’s friendships.
The former host of Our Perfect Wedding has been the subject of ongoing discussion online.
In February 2025, a user on social media platform X, @mixedraceuncle, suggested that Mdoda’s marriage was facing difficulties. This assertion gained momentum after Mdoda posted an emotional message directed at her husband.
Daily Sun reported on Saturday, 7 February 2026, indicating that the couple has officially decided to end their five-year marriage.
According to a source familiar with the matter, Mdoda has engaged her legal team to initiate divorce proceedings, expressing a desire to complete the separation within the year.
