The divisive YouTuber Slik Talk has returned with a new video, directing his frustrations toward actress and media figure, Candice Sello (née Modiselle).
In response to MultiChoice’s recent cuts to several shows announced on December 3, 2025, Slik Talk showcased a split screen with him beside a clip of TV producer Mbuyiselo Vilakazi discussing the updates.
Vilakazi emphasized DStv’s decision to sever ties with Warner Bros. due to alleged financial challenges, news that Slik Talk welcomed.
“This is the same MultiChoice that mistreats its customers, employees and talent? Sounds like a beautiful day to me.
“What MultiChoice is going through is amazing to me. MultiChoice has been treating its customers horribly for years. We’ve been asking for sports packages. I’m paying R500, and all I watch is SuperSport. Wow, Candice Modiselle, this reminds me of you.”
After criticizing MultiChoice, Slik Talk turned his attention to his experiences with Candice Modiselle, claiming her actions have adversely affected his career.
He recalled a producer from Channel O’s Gen Z, a show aimed at youth topics, reaching out to him about a guest appearance.
“She told me that she loves my channel and saw a lot of potential in me. She said, ‘I want you to come to the show and be a guest and do whatever. I want you to show the world and the other producers your talent.’
On the day he was meant to be featured, Slik Talk alleges that Candice persuaded the producers to exclude him from the lineup.
“Candice Modiselle was a presenter on that show. On the day I was supposed to go, Candice was like, ‘Absolutely not!’
“I got a voice note from the producer herself saying, ‘Slik Talk, Candice wants nothing to do with you, she doesn’t want to be in the same room with you or an apology from you. She feels you don’t deserve to be given a platform, you’re negative and toxic.’
In a previous video from March, Slik Talk mentioned he had made “some comments” about Candice but expressed willingness to collaborate, hoping she might feel the same.
He noted the irony of Candice shutting him out, only for the show, Gen Z, to be cancelled shortly after.
The YouTuber sharply criticized Candice’s choice of partner, alleging that she married a “boring nine-to-five guy” for financial stability, stating that she “blackballed him,” as indicated in the video title.
While the origins of their conflict remain unclear, Slik Talk previously cautioned Candice’s husband against marrying her, calling it a “monumental mistake.”
His video sparked a range of reactions online, with viewers weighing in on his remarks about MultiChoice and his critique of Candice.
